Before April 1st 2006, Vaccinations for Measles and Rubella were given separately, as from April 1st 2006 they were combined as one vaccination. We recommend early protection as soon as you child reaches the age of one.
Depending on the vaccination status from April 1st 2006 the age of the target group of people needing vaccinations may change. Please call us for details.
Presently, the fixed term vaccination for Japanese encephalitis has been discontinued by law. We will inform our patients when Nagoya City gives notification of resuming this vaccination.
Poliomyelitis and BCG vaccination are group vaccinations. Fees for inoculations against Chicken pox and mumps are to be met by the individual.
Vaccination Fees to be paid by the patient are (April 2008)
Chicken pox = ¥6,000
Mumps = ¥4,000
Measles = ¥4,000
German measles = ¥4,000
Pneumococcal vaccine = ¥7,000
Additionally
Influenza vaccine (2008)
Over 13 years old = ¥2,500 per shot (over 65 years old- ¥1,000 per shot)
Under 13 = Single shot ¥2,000 ( as a rule, a second shot is necessary)
